I think that Jessica contacted me right after she became pregnant! She is one of those clients that was so excited about her session and was extra encouraging to me. She and her Mom were so patient and kind, not to mention helpful. Since this was my first session using studio lighting, I was a bit nervous. Well, Griffin couldn’t have been more sweet and sleepy…hee hee:) I truly enjoyed every minute with them and am sad that they are moving away in just a few short weeks.

Jessica, what a brave and beautiful Mom you are! Griffin is such a lucky little boy to have you. I so enjoyed getting to meet you…please keep in touch!

*And the quilt we used in the basket was made by Grandma herself, I love using special family items in my sessions~

John and Kayla~ The Wedding!

So I don’t do weddings, but I make an exception every once in awhile!
Kayla’s Mom is a very special friend of mine, and having known Kayla since she was a toddler, I just couldn’t say no.
What a fun, sweet couple Kayla and John are! They agreed to do a “first look” to get more pictures out of the way before the ceremony, and they just exude happiness and fun. I have no doubt that they have many years of laughter and joy ahead of them.

When I got married, I remember not wanting to wait to see my pictures, so I tried to go through the hundreds of pictures and choose some to share as a large sneak peek for them. I hope this tides you over John and Kayla until I can get them all done!

Congratulations again to both of you. I wish you many years of happiness together:)

Maddox was such a great sleeper for me, and I was able to practice lots of new posing with him! I wish his big brother had been more willing to have his picture taken:)

I met up with these sweet kiddos in Nags Head last week. Beach sessions are tricky because of the bright light and wind, but I love the way these turned out!

I loved every minute with this sweet family! Big brother seemed to remember me from their maternity session and was oh so sweet and cooperative. And baby Brady let me try out all of my new Laura Brett skills on him:) All in all, a very successful newborn session!

This sweet family went from 3 to 5 very quickly! I have a feeling that big sister is going to be great at her new job:) This was my 4th set of twins and so far each one of these sessions has gone fairly smoothly believe it or not!

It was a pleasure to meet this family and capture such precious moments as a new family of four. Baby Kate was one of the best sleepers I have had yet, and big brother Shelton was super cooperative as well!
