We have been having such a mild winter here in Virginia that we were sure we wouldn’t see any snow. Well, last Sunday we finally saw some of the white stuff and luckily we already had the next day off to play:) My kiddos teamed up with my friend Lauren and her clan for some good old sledding, or as Maggie calls it, snow riding:)
I was challenged on the first afternoon to take pictures in the snow and then the next day to deal with the brightness of the snow and morning sun, but what I captured was so much more than getting my settings right….this is the stuff that childhood memories are made of! Lauren and I are already making the little ones books from our fun snow day~
These are of Maggie when I got home from the store after the snow had first started to fall…and before I went in to dress her in her snow gear…yes, Dad had her out in her church clothes:)
And then the next day~
Even our sweet puppy got her picture taken:)
