This session was such a special one for me. I’ve been photographing this sweet girl since she was a newborn, and now here she is—12 years old, right on the cusp of becoming a teenager. It’s amazing to see how much she’s grown over the years.
Twelve is such a unique age—caught between childhood and teenhood. There’s still a playfulness and innocence, but also the confidence of a young lady beginning to step into who she is becoming. Capturing that in photographs feels like preserving a fleeting season that passes far too quickly.
Her twin sisters joined in the fun too, which made the session even sweeter. Together, they shared laughs, inside jokes, and that unmistakable sister bond. Photographing them as a trio was such a joy—it’s always clear how much love they have for one another.
These are the sessions I treasure most—the ones where I’ve been able to walk alongside a family for years, documenting their milestones and watching the story unfold. What a gift it is to freeze time, even for just a moment.
